Aubrey Tirado MS., BCBA, LBA
Owner, Board Certified Behavior Analyst

I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Certified Behavioral Sleep Specialist with a Master's Degree in Developmental Disabilities, specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis from Nova Southeastern University. My career in the field began as a Behavior Technician, progressed to a Special Education Teacher role, and eventually led to my certification as a BCBA. Over the past four years, I have had the privilege of leading a passionate team as a Clinical Director. With over 15 years of experience, I have had the opportunity to work in various settings, including schools/daycares, homes, and clinics.

Throughout my career, I have cultivated a deep passion for providing ethical, client-centered services. I am dedicated to delivering the highest quality care, which includes individualized, intensive 1:1 services and comprehensive family guidance. My areas of expertise and interest encompass early intervention, trauma-informed care, parent coaching, personalized programming, and empowering the next generation of BCBAs. I believe that the foundation of success lies in the strength of our connections. This dedication led me to found Nurturing Roots Behavioral Therapy, where our mission is to offer exceptional support and care. We strive to create a nurturing environment that fosters growth, understanding, and positive change for individuals and families. Through compassion, innovation, and a deep-rooted belief in the potential for positive transformation, Nurturing Roots Behavioral Therapy aims to empower individuals to achieve their fullest potential and lead fulfilling lives.

In my downtime, I cherish spending time with my three daughters and husband, enjoying the company of close friends, exploring new coffee shops, and basking in the sunshine outdoors.

“Aubrey has a very unique gift and understanding for the process of ABA, the individuality of each child she works with and how to put in place appropriate goals. She was always incredibly flexible and responsive if we reached out with a new concern that came up at home and modified Julian’s (our son with Autism) plans and goals to exactly what was needed. We worked with Aubrey for just under two years and Julian was able to graduate out of his ABA program by mastering all of his goals! Julian was able to enroll in public school for kindergarten and has been excelling at school, making friends, trying sports and enjoying everyday life!! Our family is so fortunate to have met and worked with Aubrey. “
